Hey guys :)

I'm Pierre, author extraordinaire of this site. I was born in the South of France on the 18th July, 1983. I'm not sure I should tell you that, but I trust you :)

I live in the UK at the moment, although I'd like to live elsewhere, probably Canada. It seems pretty cool. I'm currently reading Oceanography with Physical Geography at the University of Southampton and I'm in my thrid and final year. I've got quite a lot of work to do this year, which means pointless things like this website oughn't be happening, but I'm lazy and so they are.

If I'm lucky I might possibly maybe be able to get a job doing Side Scan Sonar work on Vancouver Island if I'm very good to one of my friends :) That's if I don't hate Side Scan Sonar by the time I've finished my dissertation on it at the end of the academic year. We'll just have to wait and see. If I don't like doing it and I can't think of anything I'd rather do, it looks like I shall become a) a statistic (university graduate without a job) or b) one of the many people of my age who goes travelling. Either way, I join the rat race :) I simply can't wait.

I have words of advice to anyone lucky enough to still be at school - enjoy it while you can. You think it's boring and that all the teachers are there to make you life hell, whereas you'll soon discover as soon as you finish school, that your teachers were in fact being super friendly and helpful. The amount of work which a teacher does which the pupils never know about is astonishing. I only wish I knew this before I'd finished school.
