hey crazy ladies! welcome to beware: longboarders.
this site has basically come into being because i smashed into the back of a ford focus and consequently ended up with a massive bruise on my leg and a £180 bill to sort the car out. so what we, well I, want you guys to do is send me pictures and stories of your most horrible longboarding stories. i've started with my own photos, and since i've only really had a couple of horrid crashes, there's only a few pictures. because i've only ever really been longboarding in southampton, there's a section on longboarding in southampton. what we like when longboarding is long steep hills, with good corners and preferably a nice incline at the end so you don't have to jump off and wreck your trousers (as i've done several times). there's a few in the common, and i'll draw some maps so you can find the ones we go on. in the projects section there's news (of sorts) of what were doing to our boards. since i'm a bit of a chav i've bought some neon lights for my board, and i plan to attach them to the underside of the board. i'm not sure if this has been done before, but lushlongboards is probably the place to find out (see links). there's also a couple of photos of some boards i've made. they're nothing special - more experiments than anything else... tips. fairly self explanatory but things which my mates and i have found help make the longboarding experience better click on the sections at the bottom for the appropriate sections. |
